Social at Skipton
Skipton Building Society | Social Media
In my role as Senior Art Director and Social Creative at Skipton Building Society, I am responsible for directing on concepts and production across B2B and B2C channels.
I'm spearheading the revamp of our social content and leading the team of videographers and designers, as we introduce more engaging animation and video content, rather than relying on stock imagery and copy-heavy social posts.

It's a conversation worth having
Paid Social

Problem: People find talking about money awkward. We need to increase volume of 'My Money Review' appointment bookings.
Insight: There are some awkward conversations you'd rather not have, but with a free 'My Money review', money doesn't have to be one of them.
Gift the magic of Christmas
Branch Collateral, Ad Van, Paid Social

Problem: People in our local communities are struggling to afford Christmas presents for their children. Community is important to the members of the society, and we want to increase our member sentiment scores, so we need to do our bit to make a difference.
Solution: We partnered with Cash For Kids and other local charities, to collect donations of Christmas gifts in branch.
Results: In just one week, we collected over 3,000 toys across our branch network. One member saw the poster and donated £2,000 to the initiative!

The Big Retrofit
Organic Social
Art Direction, Copywriting + Production by me
Problem: We need to boost our members knowledge of the home retrofitting process and it's benefits, ahead of the release of new green lending products.
Solution: Tell the story of our very own retrofit from start to finish, with weekly social updates, YouTube 'How to' videos and a documentary (coming soon!).

Membership means more
Paid Social

Problem: Our members aren't always aware of the benefits available to them, such as a free 'Pension Health Check' and exclusive savings rates, just for them.
Solution: Highlight the benefits of the member products and services.
